  • What are chemical peels? (chemical exfoliation)
    A peel is the application of a chemical solutions used to remove the damaged outer layers of dead skin cells. Peels vary by active ingredient, strength, PH and delivery agent. Specific ingredients target and benefit various skin conditions. By removing the build-up of dead skin cells and stimulating the regenerative process, you will notice improvements in texture, tone of the skin, hydration, reduced pore size, clearing of blemishes and more balanced oil production. An overall healthier skin appearance.
  • What is microdermabrasion?
    Microdermabrasion is a physical resurfacing exfoliation treatment. A light suction and a diamond tip wand are used to remove dead outer layers of skin. Fine lines, sun damage, white heads, superficial pigmentation, acne scarring and large pores can benefit from this treatment.
  • What do I do after a chemical peel or microdermabrasion?
    For home care a gentle cleanser, healing serums and calming topicals should be applied to reduce inflammation. Physical sunscreen is a must.
  • What is microneedling?
    Micro-needles pierce the skin to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. There is enough stimulation for the skin to shift into regeneration mode.   • What are the benefits of microneedling?

  • Microneedling Procedure
    *Prior to treatment a consultation is performed to determine if the service is a good fit for you. A topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to achieve minimal discomfort. Following topical, skin is thoroughly cleansed and custom serums are applied to boost treatment. A small electric sterile pen with a disposable micro needle tip is used to puncture the skin. Throughout treatment speed and depth of needle is adjusted to properly treat each area of face and neck. Following the treatment, clients experience some redness and minimal swelling, typical to a sun burn. Skin may be slightly pink for up to 48 hours post-procedure, but these inflammatory results are a normal response as the skin works to repair itself. Post care support is imperative.
